Most personality tests flatten you onto a single spectrum per axis. Introvert or Extravert. Thinker or Feeler. Reality is messier, and you've probably felt it — answering "it depends" to half the questions on a traditional test. HEX Profile was built differently.

Not 4. Not 5. Six spectrums that operate independently — meaning your Source (where you draw energy) doesn't predict your Compass (how you make decisions). You might be an Internal Logic person. Or an External Harmony person. All 64 combinations exist, and none of them are contradictions.

HEX doesn't pathologize either end of any spectrum. Internal isn't "antisocial." Structure isn't "rigid." Every position has advantages and blind spots — and the point isn't to move toward the middle, it's to understand where you are.
